Hi friends! I am really happy to get back into my blogging because I missed it! This week I am talking about my experience at the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta Beauty. I have never been one to pay close attention to my eyebrows…and now I realize that I should. My plan was to run into Ulta for a new mascara and my favorite beauty blender, but that changed. I was browsing through the makeup…well because who else walks in there without taking a peek around at the goodies? That was when I came across the Benefit Brow Bar. I had my little one with me, but the girl asked if I was interested in getting my eyebrows done and I happily agreed.
She started with something called “brow mapping.” So basically what this means is that they create lines where your brows should start and help accentuate your features. They take into account the shape of your face and the length that they should be. This was such an important step for me because it I could see what my brows should look like. When she showed me this, I saw that it was time to begin paying more attention to my brows…they were crooked!! In the past, I usually ran into a nail salon to get them waxed in a rush and clearly this was not working for me.
Then, she began waxing and tweezing my brows and for some reason it seemed a lot less painful than anywhere else I had been to. The best part of this experience had to be the brow pencil that she used, which I am going to link below. It filled in all of the gaps that I have in a completely natural way. I ended up purchasing my own so that I can use it everyday. I am by no means a pro at doing this…I mean I probably penciled my brows only a few times in the past. I swear this pencil is incredibly easy to use and forgiving. If you make a small mistake, it is really user friendly!
