Hello everyone! Happy to see you here!  This week on the blog, I am sharing some trends that I am really excited about wearing as we enter this time of year. While it is still a bit chilly, we can at least prepare our closets for warmer weather. I hope you enjoy!

Florals

I think floral prints have come so far recently. When I used to think about floral clothing, my mind would immediately be brought to my grandmother’s house coat.  Can anyone relate? Now the so many adorable options with prints that range from bold and bright to a more muted and subdued pattern.  Basically, there is something for everyone and that makes it all the more better. Here are a couple of gorgeous floral dresses pictured below.

This gorgeous floral dress is available at my favorite local store Lola. Of course I love that it has pockets!
Another adorable Lola find! Love the baby doll style!

Wide Leg Pants

I admittedly was a a bit hesitant about this trend to be honest with you, but once I gave it a try I am hooked!  I love the way a wide leg pant looks with a fitted top (especially because that is the smaller part of my body). There are so many fun options to choose from and let’s not forget the comfort level too.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not abandoning my skinny jeans any time soon, but a wide leg pant gives me the opportunity to create more diversity in my wardrobe.  I promise you should give them a try!

Check out Lola to shop these gorgeous Bishop and Young stripe pants.
These adorable palazzo pants are from Target!

The Pleated Skirt

Any Catholic school girls out there?  I was one of them…and I definitely remember sporting my pleated skirt before they were fashionable.   Skirts are such a feminine and classy piece of clothing and I definitely think you should really own at least one.  I plan on wearing them a lot this season and well into the summer.  Whether it is a solid color or a pattern, you can transform the look with a few changes to your accessories.

Look at this darling pleated skirt…another Lola find!!
The perfect pink for spring time. I found this pleated skirt on Amazon.

Pattern Mixing

Gone are the days when your outfit had to match perfectly.  Now, it is acceptable to mix and match textures and patterns.  I love that you can do this because you can add more interest and depth to any outfit!  Animal prints are so popular and they lend themselves to lots of pattern mixing even if it just an accessory.

Stripes an leopard here!

I linked most of these looks in the caption of each picture and I hope you take the opportunity to shop some (or all) of these outfits!  Thank you so much for stopping by the blog this week! I appreciate each and every one of you!  Be sure to comment on your favorite look!

XO ~ Noreen
