Hello friends! I feel like it’s been a while since I was on here. This week I am sharing this casual black dress that has so many outfit options. I love when you can take one piece and style it multiple ways. I love it even more when it is a really affordable item like this one! I picked up this black dress while browsing through Old Navy a couple of weeks ago and the moment I laid eyes on it, I wanted it.
I am all about keeping to a budget when shopping so when I purchase something it has to make sense for me to buy. Is it practical for everyday wear? If it is, then great!
I am wearing it here with a simple belt and hat…all very reasonably priced. My boots were a bit more of a splurge, but I found them on sale. I would wear this for a night our with the hubs or even with the girls. It is super chic and easy to wear. In the second picture, I added this drapey blazer for a little pop of color.
In this next look, I could run around with the kids to our favorite lunch spot or store. I love that this dress lends itself to casual looks such as this one. My cross body bag is another affordable find and is a perfect accessory to any outfit.
Clearly, I have a “thing” for yellow and if you follow me on Instagram you know that about me. I just love how it brightens up any outfit. This button down floral top does just that. I threw it on over the dress and tied it for a fun fresh look. These heels have been my go to for a long time! They pair so nicely with jeans, pants and dresses of course. I own them in black too.
I thought I was being cute with this pose, I mean sometimes you have to change things up right? This is something I would definitely wear if I was going to a meeting at school or even out to dinner. The dress and heels give you a put together feel and the denim relaxes this look. I am a huge fan of a good denim jacket to wear with a dress. I added the scarf to change up the look further and to add a layer of warmth.
Here I go again with these poses, but I really wanted to show you how fun this outfit is! I chose my favorite denim shirt with a front knot and a cute pair of sneakers. This look is perfect for running errands or cheering on your little cuties on the field.
