Hi everyone!  This week I am talking about some fall fashion trends that you can incorporate into your wardrobe as an everyday mom or girl.  I love reading about what is new and now, but I am not one to wear “high fashion” clothing or brands.  They are gorgeous to look at, but don’t necessarily appeal to my wallet.

Colorful plaids are super hot right now!  When you think of fall, plaid usually comes to mind…right?  What is special about this year’s plaid trend is that they are more colorful and bold…think hot pink, bright blues, and flaming yellows.  I love adding pops of color to my outfits and this is the perfect way!

Hot pinks are another trend that is quite easy to try.  I have shared a couple of tops that you can wear, but also try to add a dash of this color with your shoes or even a scarf, if you feel like you don’t want to go overboard.

Have you seen a lot of leopard print in stores this fall? I am sure that you answer is yes because animal prints are really popular right now.  This season, think of your leopard print as a neutral and play with different patterns.  It is perfectly acceptable to wear those animal print shoes with your striped top, just do it in a tasteful way.

The prairie look is also making its way into our closets with floral and ruffled shirts and dresses.  I am actually really excited about this one.  I mean wearing a floral and ruffly dress with a pair of booties is right up my alley!

Finally, blanket coats are really a thing! While these can definitely make a statement, this is a trend that you can try in a conservative way.  I linked a cute option that is over sized but easy to pull off for an everyday look.

Remember that just because something is a “trend” does not mean that you have to try them all at once or take it to an extreme.  Sometimes, less is more!  Go for an effortless look rather than “I am trying really hard to stand out.”
