HI friends! I hope you guys are doing well! I wanted to share with you my first experience attending a fashion week event. I mean, I am a total rookie to all of this…so please keep that in mind. I had no idea what to expect but I was super excited for it no matter what!
As a blogger, my first thought was “What do I wear?” Because, of course, nothing in my closet was worthy to wear that night. Translation, I needed a good excuse to shop and that is exactly what I did. So I ran to Nordstrom and went to town. This was the look that I chose:
I went with a classic all black look, and added a little pop of leopard with these gorgeous sock boots by the brand Something Navy. Although it is hard to see the close up details, I wore a pair of fishnet tights to add some contrast to the monochromatic look.
Now onto the evening, I brought my sister with me because we share a love of clothing and fashion so I knew we would enjoy this together. So dressed in our cutest outfits, we grabbed an Uber and headed down to the city. While we waited to get inside, there were many photo opportunities to take advantage of and that is what we did!
We were lucky enough to have seats in the front row, which made our view of the runway just perfect. I loved the way that The Society catered to all different body types, rather than making clothing exclusively for models. The clothing is accessible to everyone.
Excuse my amateur photos, but these are just to give you a sneak peek at our seats and what we saw. I had an amazing time and look forward to future fashion week events to come.
