HI friends! It has definitely been a long time and a lot has happened in my life. So here I am and happy to say that I am back and hoping to add some inspiration to your closet and wardrobe. Summer seems to begin later and end later nowadays, but I feel like once school begins, I am ready for fall clothing. Is anyone else with me? It’s like once the pumpkin spice latte hits Starbucks, we are all running for our boots and cardigans. Today I am going to share some ways to transition those summer pieces into the fall.
One of our big life changes in the last month is that we moved to a new state. There were so many new adjustments, but one of the biggest ones was the children starting school in August! I was not used to this and frankly neither were they, but we all managed to make a smooth transition.
This dress is one of my new favorites and I love how adding the booties and the hat gives it just the right hint of fall style.
Adding different accessories really gives you the most wear out of your wardrobe. Rather than only wearing a particular piece for one season, you can utilize it throughout multiple seasons.
I know I mentioned it earlier but one of my favorite accessory pieces for the fall is a hat. There are so many cute ones for affordable prices and they just pull a look together so effortlessly. Let’s face it, they are also great on not-so-good hair days!
Layering is a huge part of transitioning clothing into cooler seasons. Take this polka dot swing dress for example. It has thin straps and looked really cute during the summer with sandals. Now, I am able to wear it in the fall by throwing on a pair of booties and a denim jacket. This gives me an extra month or two of wear time with the dress.
I hope that I left you with some fall outfit inspo! I am linking all available items for you to shop below. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
