Hi friends! in the last few weeks I have shared so many pieces that I consider summer staples. I love opening up my closet knowing that I can easily pull together an outfit for any event or occasion. Today I am excited to share some of those must-haves for your summer wardrobe!
A Denim Skirt:
This is such a great piece because you can easily dress it up for lunch or dinner with a pair of heels or wedges. You can also wear it to the beach over a swim suit with flip flops for a more casual look. I have a couple that are my personal favorites that I will link at the end.
A Maxi Dress:
A maxi dress is so comfortable and depending on the style can be worn so many different ways. This one is from Amazon and it is super affordable and fashionable too. I love that it has pockets and comes in several colors. I went for a beachy look here, but you can also throw on a pair of wedges to dress is up a bit more.
Wide Leg Pants:
I love a good pair of wide leg pants. They are so comfortable and easy to wear when the temperatures are rising. This pair is really affordable and versatile!
Denim Shorts:
Denim shorts are the ultimate closet staple for summer! No matter what your body type is-there is a pair that suits your shape. Find the pair with the correct rise, length, and color that you love the most and grab a pair or two!
A Lightweight Sweater:
If you are like me then you are always chilly, even in the summer! It can be 90 degrees, but when I step into a place with air conditioning, I suddenly want a sweater. I mean it’s not like I want a winter sweater but something light enough to throw on over a tank top or dress. Purchase one in a neutral color so that you can wear it with various outfits. This one has been a consistent top seller.
Neon:
Neon is so on trend right now that you should own something that is some shade of neon…even if it is an accessory! I chose this adorable tank top that looks great by itself or layered. I wouldn’t recommend investing in an expensive item because you never know how long a trend like this will last. There are so many options to try if you are a little hesitant to jump on the bandwagon…a hair accessory, a belt, or even a pair of shoes are great ways to add a pop of neon to your closet.
Graphic Tee:
Graphic tees look great with shorts, jeans, and even skirts…they give any outfit an instant cool vibe. I think it a great piece to pull together a casual summer look. There are so many options out there that you can find one that appeals to your style.
